Ashlee smiled as she scanned, trying to guess which one was his. There was quite a few junky ones, but there was a few that were on the nicer side. When Nick pointed to the pretty silver car, her smile turned a little bit sweeter. A guy's car didn't mean a whole lot to her, but it definitely said something about the guy's taste and she liked his. She followed him to the car and to her surprise, instead of opening her door for her, he hopped right in.
'Alrighty then.' she thought, walking over to the passenger side and opening the door. She sat on the comfortable, cool leather and shut the door as she got situated. She clipped in her seat belt into its clippy-thing and then looked over at Nick. She smiled and then looked straight ahead as she waited for him to pull out and turn into the hustle and bustle of the busy street.

Nick smiled as he watched Ashlee get in; a slight scowl on her face. "I guess that wasn't very 'gentleman' like of me. Whooops." he thought to himself as he flashed her a sweet smile, hoping she wouldn't go off on him. He buckled his seatbelt just seconds after Ashlee. He turned the keys after putting them into the ignition, starting the car with a low rumble, as it almost refused to completely turn on. "Ohh, you better work." he mumbled outloud to his car, not realizing what he was saying. When the car finally rumbled with it familiar sound, Nick turned to Ashlee and flashed a reassuring smile. "Heh, sorry about that." he said.
Nick put the Silver beauty into reverse and pulled out into the traffic filled road. Pulling the car to a gentle stop at the traffic light that he had just missed, he turned to Ashlee. "So. What do you do in your spare time?" he asked, as he took his left hand and brushed it through his hair really fast, trying to get rid of any flyaways that may have happened to appear in the past, what? Ten, fifteen minutes? He smiled as the traffic light turned green and he pulled away, feeling the wind whip past his face.

Ashlee sat in the seat comfortably as Nick struggled getting the car to start. When she felt the car's gentle hum under her, and she let out a silent sigh of relief under her breath. She let her hands rest on her lap as he pulled out into the street. There were a ton of cars out today for some reason. Probably a bunch of teens going to different parties and such. "Wouldn't be surprised." she thought as they came to a stop at the first street light. "Sports wise I play volleyball and tennis. Can't get enough of it. and unfortunately, I only get like, three or rarely 4 days a week to myself to do other things like hanging out and stuff." she replied, lightly looking over at him. She didn't want to seem like she was staring; she hated when people stared at her for some reason, ick. She moved her right arm so now it layed on the door-side arm rest, "Much better."
"So, what about you? What are your hobbies?" she asked, restating his question back to him. She smiled and let her honey eyes remain on his face, not in a staring way, but more in an interested way. She liked to listen to guys talk, it made her feel like they are comfortable around her; which she liked also.

Nick was having trouble dodging through traffic with the idiots that were blasting through the lanes as if they owned them. He tried to focus on Ashlee, but on the road as well. He listened to her as she listed off the sports she likes to do. "Volleyball and tennis, huh. That's cool." he said smiling, still processing the rest of what she said, yet still concentrating on the road. "Three or four days isn't too bad, concidering you play two sports." he said, flashing her a smile as he made a right turn onto another intersection that connected with the one he was on. Pulling the car to a moments halt at another red light, he looked at Ashlee.
He paused for a moment as he thought about his hobbies. After a moment, he replied, "Well, I play basketball. I was on my old schools Varsity team. I also box and swim. But the only team I'm on here is the basketball." he said. "I also like to hang out at the beach and go go-karting and mini-golfing." he said with a bright smile. Nick looked up at the traffic light, seeing that it had turned green, he lightly tapped on the gas, lurching the car foreward as he continued driving toward the apple orchard.

Ashlee looked over at Nick as she took her largely rimmed sunglasses off from atop her head and placed them gingerly upon her nose. She listened to his responce to her question and found herself rather pleased. "Ooh. Looks like we've got an athlete on our hands." she teased, nudging his arm only slightly. "Really? I love to go-kart. My girls and I go a whole lot in the summer time." she smiled. "We'll have to go sometime. That is, if you're up for the challenge." she added half-jokingly.
She playfully stuck her tounge out from the side of her glossy lips, a white smile following quickly afterward. She looked up at the sky; completely cloudless and gorgeous, as per usual. Then her eyes finally settled back on Nick, the smile still remaining across her mouth.

"Ha, I guess we do." he said, trying to concentrate on the road with such a beautiful girl in the car. Nick gripped the steering wheel a tad tighter as he pulled into the center turn lane and made a left turn. They were now about, eh? Roughly 6 minutes away from the apple orchard. He smiled as Ashlee nudged his arm a tad. "Hah, I'm definitely up for the challenge - I'm always up for a challenge." he said, with his agressive and very competitive side finally beginning to show.
As Nick continued driving down the road, he took his right hand and turned on the radio. 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)' began blasting from the speakers, the bass vibrated through Nick. He smiled and looked over at Ashlee. "If you don't like this song, you can change it. It doesn't matter to me." he said.
Nick made the final turn and pulled in the closest parking space avaliable. He put the car in Park, then turned the keys and pulled them out of the ignition. Unbuckling his seatbelt, he turned to Ashlee once more and asked, "You ready?" a smile began to form on his lips.
