Scott was bored out of his mind, so he decided to grab his stuff and drive around. Luckily, he had his surfboard still strapped on top of his car, because he spotted a perfect blue water. The waves must have been 5 feet high, and there weren't tons of surfers out on this 95 degree day. Man, today must be my lucky day. The surf out here is amazing. He unstrapped his board from his roof, and grabbed his bag that, luckily, had his board shorts and wet suit in there. Walking across the hot sand, he scoped out the perfect spot to set down his stuff and go to get changed. Aha, there's one. Not too close, but not too far from the water. Also, conveniently located by the snack bar, its a guy's dream. He chuckled slightly to himself and set down his stuff to get changed. "Hey, dude can you watch this really quick?" He asked the guy tending to the open bar. Waving a quick thanks, he went to go and get changed.
Stepping back out from the cabana, he headed back towards his stuff. Grabbing his board, he headed out to the least crowded spot in the water, so he didn't hit anyone while surfing. There were some surfers out there, and all of them waved hello as they searched for the perfect wave. Scott sat up on his board, and peeled off the top part of the wet suit. It was hot outside, and the wet suit kept all his body heat in. After only a couple minutes, the perfect wave started to roll in. Calling that he got this one, he quickly turned around and waited for the wave to pick him up. Standing up, he felt an amazing adrenaline rush and started to try some new tricks. In a matter of seconds, it was all over and when he resurfaced, it was to light applause from the surfers around. "Thanks guys." Remembering he had to put sunscreen on, he headed in for a quick break.

Selena drove up in her silver 2007 Jeep Liberty, "This ain't a scene, it's an arms race" blasting from her speakers. She was wearing her light denim skirt and a light green camisol with lace across the top. Selena pulled up in the closest parking spot she could find and pulled her favorite brown sunglasses up over her head. She tapped the brake, and held it with her right foot that had a green Old Navy flipflop on it. Selena put the car in 'park' and sat there for a second. "Damn, this place is like a ghost town today." she thought aloud to herself. Selena took the keys out of the ignition and grabbed her green and blue polka-dotted tote bag. The bag contained two beach towels, a hair brush, another pair of flipflops, Maui Babe (her FAVORTIE suntan lotion), and an extra change of clothes. Selena jumped out of the car and walked up the sidewalk to the beach entrance, her hips swaying back and forth in perfect rhythm. She caught a couple guys staring, her lips curled into a smile when a few hot guys checked her out. Not just once, but twice. Selena continued down the what seemed like forever walk to the entrance. When reached the entrance and walked in, she immediately found a perfect tanning spot. She paused for a moment and studied the crowd of people that were gathered there.
Selena walked up to her tanning spot, which wasn't surprisingly still avaliable after the few minutes she had taken to walk over there, seeing how dead the beach was that day. She set down her bag and pulled out the biggest beach towel. Selena laid it across the sandy area and quickly bent down to straighten it out. She pulled the sunglasses from her head and put them into her bag. At the same time she grabbeed her Maui Babe and set it onto her towel. Selena stood up and removed her camisol, which revaled her blue and green dolka dotted bikini top. She heard a couple of immature guys whistle at her. She turned around and gave them a seductive look followed by a wink, teasing them. She loved doing that. For some odd reason she found it funny to mess with guys heads. She returned her attention to her bag and towel. Selena unbottoned her skirt and pulled it down past her hips, then thighs, finally she pulled it off of her ankles and threw it into her bag. She picked up the Maui Babe and sat down onto her towel. Selena looked around once more and began appling the oily coffee-based mixture onto her skin, watching this super cute guy show off his amazing surfing skills. Selena smiled, and kept her eyes locked on the guy.

Scott picked up his light blue surfboard and started his way up the beach to grab his suntan lotion. He would totally skip putting the lotion on, but he has very fragile skin and he would rather take two minutes to put it on that suffer for a whole day of having a back burn. Looking up to find his spot, he saw a girl in a blue and green bikini slathering the lotion on right next to his towel. Great, just what I need. Oh well, better be friendly, she might go to my school Scott made his way up to his towel, grabbed some money and headed over to the snack bar. Buying a pineapple-orange juice, he headed back to his towel to put his sun tan lotion on and then take off in the water. He sat down on his towel, smiling the friendliest smile he had. He then took a long drink, letting the cool liquid slide down his throat.
"Damn, I forgot my lotion." He said out loud to himself as he looked around his towel and under it. After searching for a couple of minutes, he sat down and finished his drink off. Looking around for the nearest garbage can, so he could throw away the bottle. After locating one, he proceeded to get up and throw it away. He made his way back to his towel and began searching for his keys. Finally locating them, he smiled again, letting her know that he would, unfortunately, be back. He got up off his towel and started to walk to his car.

Selena smiled as the boy came up to her towel. But she quickly realized that his towel was right next to hers, so he wasn't exactly coming to see her. She smiled as friendly as possible back to the adorable boy, as her eyes scanned the beach at the same time. She had a bad habit of looking around. It always looked like she was looking for someone or something. Everyone said that bugged them about her, but she really didn't notice. She began to say something, but the boy got up and said he forgot his lotion, but he hadn't introduced himself or even said 'Hi' yet. Those words were actually the first that Selena had heard him mutter since he sat down next to her. She looked at him as he dug for something. When she realized it was his keys, she looked at him, worringly that he wouldn't come back. But when he flashed her the reassuring smile, that worry quickly faded.
As she watched the boy walk out into the parking lot, her cellphone began to ring. "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie filled the semi-quiet beach. She pulled out her phone and looked at the caller Id. It was Jason. She answered, hoping he would have some dirt, or something that she could talk about in her lone wait for the guy to reappear. "Hey, Jason! I haven't talked to you in a few days, what's up?" she asked, overly excited to talk to her brother. "Nothing really. But boy, do I have some news for you." he replied back, as Selena fiddled with her hair. "What, what is it?" she asked back, now anxious to hear the news. "Well, believe it or not, I found a girlfriend, yes. A girlfriend. She's amazing and gorgeous. I don't know if you've met her. Her name's Kaleena Foley. But yeah. I seriously am so happy." he said, Selena could hear the joy in his voice. "That's awesome Jay. But, hey. I have to go. I'm at the beach waiting for a cute guy to come back." she said, chuckling slightly. "Alright, Selena, I'll talk to you later then?" he added. "Yupp, see you later bro. Love yah!" she replied. "Same." she heard him mumble. Selena hung up her phone and slid it back into her tote and waited for the guy to return.
ooc; if you couldn't tell - bold's Jason talking. Regular is Selena.

Slowly making his way up the beach, he heard a cell phone ring and quickly turned around to see if it was his. When the girl next to him picked up the phone, he turned around and started walking again. He slowly walked through the parking lot, looking around for his car. When he spotted it, there seemed to be a commotion going on. There was a guy standing there, looking around while his car was still running right in front of his car. What the hell is going on? Oh man, he better not have... but before Scott could finish that thought, he looked around the guy's car and saw his perfectly beat up black bumper. "No way, man. You didn't just run into my brand new car. This...is...unbelievable." For the first time in a long time, he could feel his throat tighten up. This car was his baby, for the few months he'd had it.
The guy finally turned around to see who was talking to him, and asked him if he was the owner of this car. "Yeah, I own this car. Let me get my cell phone and we can call the police." The guy introduced himself as Carl and when Scott mentioned the word police, his face fell. He then managed to mutter something about not dealing with the police, but Scott knew it was the right thing to do. It was the only way his insurance would cover the accident, so he could get it fixed as soon as possible. After hanging up the phone, he went to his car and preceded to look for his lotion. After finding his bag, he started to slather some on, figuring they'd be there for a while. Finally, the police pulled up, and started to try and piece together the story. People started showing up, wondering what happened when Scott got a chance to tell him his side. Damn, and I thought this was going to be my day.

Selena leaned back on her elbows and began to soak up the sun. The song 'Soak Up The Sun' By Sheryl Crow began running through her head, at random, and she began humming to the very catchy tune. Probably looking like an idiot, she reached into her bag to see if she had her green iPod on her. Seeing that she did she yanked it out from underneath all of her towels and clothes, and popped the headphones in her ears. Turning the volume way down low, so she could still hear what was going on around her, she quickly searched for the song she had been humming to herself earlier. Once she found it, she laid down on the towel, feeling the hot sun bake her skin. Suddenly, she heard one police siren pull up. She yanked out her headphones and stood up to see what was going on. She peeked past the cars and saw the cop talking to two people. She began walking, but the sand completely burned her skin - running back to her towel, she tried to move as fast as possible.
Once Selena got back to her towel, she pulled her skirt up past her legs and to her hips, once again. Then she slipped her flip-flops on and grabbed her tote bag that contained her some of her two most valuable things. She walked out past the gate and looked at the commotion. She saw the guy, that had still not introduced himself, and another guy and saw a car, with a huge dent. Selena rushed up and asked the still no-named-mentioned boy. "Oh wow, what's going on. Nobody got hurt right?" she asked, a worried look twisted on her face as she waited for an answer, from someone.

Scott was finishing up with the police officer and decided to call his dad. He needed to know what would happen, and would rather him hear it instead of reading on their insurance claim. The phone buzzed at the other end, letting him know that it was calling his old house. "Hey, dad. Yeah. There's been an accident. No...I'm not hurt. Yeah, some guy slammed into my bumper. No, the police said that the insurance will most likely cover it. Dad, no. You cannot come down here and beat this guy's ass. Don't worry. I'm handling it. Okay...bye." He laughed lightly when his dad wanted to come down here. He started to lean up against the police hood when he heard a familiar voice. He turned to find the girl from the beach, pushing her way through the crowd. He heard her ask a question about what happened. "This idiot over here just slammed into my bumper. Nothing interesting here." He waved away all the other people and they started to lose interest.
He put his face in his hands and started to think. I could really use something to drink right now. I think I'll go to the snack bar. Yeah, that sounds good right about now. He walked over to the officer to let him know that he was leaving. The officer let him know that his car would be at the station, for investigation. Scott didn't really care. The officer gave him his card. Then, Scott decided to head up towards the snack bar. He plopped down on the nearest bar-like stool, and ordered a supreme sandwich and a large coke. Waiting for his sandwich, he gazed out onto the water, which looked calm now.

Selena felt a wave of relief sweep over her when he said no one was hurt. Just that an idiot ran into him. "Well, I'm just glad that no one was hurt." she said, with a smile looking at the guy, who still has yet to introduce himself. She tried to be as sweet as can be when she felt her tote begin to vibrate & ring pretty loud. It was the ring tone that signaled that she had just received a text message. Selena pulled out her cell phone and pressed the 'OK' button, which opened her message. It was from Abby, one of her newer friends at Westview. It read - "Hey Selena! What's new? I'm just bored, so I figured I would text you. xoxo Abby" She smiled to herself, as she looked up, indicating that she wasn't trying to be rude. "I'll just text her back later, no big." she thought to herself as she saw the cute guy suddenly leave. She began to frown as she waited a moment, before trying to catch up.
She continued to frown as the boy kept walking. Selena shoved past the people that were still crowded around the scene. She finally pushed her way through and she walked over to the wooden fence. She leaned up against it and pulled out her cell phone, texting Abby back. Selena texted at the speed of light. It was almost freaky how fast she was. After only a few seconds her message read, "Hey Abby. Sorry it took me so long to respond. There was a big commotion at the beach. But, there's nothing much here. We need to get together again soon. Love, Selena Rae.xo" she pressed send and slid the phone back into her tote. She began walking over to the snack bar was located. She figured since the guy was either really shy, or just trying to avoid her, she would go over and introduce herself. As she approached the guy, she ran through a few things that she could say in her head. Once she found the right one, she walked up casually and said, "Hey, that was quite some introduction. But I don't think I've officially introduced myself. I'm Selena, Selena Riley." she said, flashing him a friendly, but not flirty, smile.
