Name (Full): Donavan Alfonse Leone
Birthday/Age: 3/10/89 17&Senior
What's your character like?: Over the years Donavan has learned that life is easier when lived for yourself. So that is exactly what he does. This isn’t saying that he is a loner. Not by any means. Whenever he is with a large crowd and having fun is when he is happiest. Sarcasm is a second language to him. He enjoys joking quite a bit and loves a good laugh. His charisma and outgoing attitude makes meeting new people rather easy for him. However this doesn’t necessarily mean that he is a friendly individual. If you are moody or just get on his nerves, you will be aware of it. Donavan feels that there is no need for people who are going to bring him down so he gets rid of them. Because of some of his…habits, he is considered trouble by some. He never tries to drag other people into any trouble he might cause though. According to him, he can handle anything that comes his way on his own. Despite the help he has needed in the past. His wits can usually get him out of most situations. He is rather lazy and uncaring about most things and people. Some of the only things he really actually sincerely cares about is family and of course his music. A good majority of his free time is spent on it actually.

Background: (Bare with me, I put a bit of thought into this. If you don’t read it all, no one will be offended.)
Donavan was one of the many members of the Leone family. His father Antonio was a rather abrupt and wily businessman. He worked very hard at his job. According to Antonio he was ‘made man’ but in reality he was a supervisor for a trading company that liked to joke about his Italian heritage too much. For all of the hours of work he put in, he made up for by enjoying every moment he could with his family. The old bear could be quit loud and incredibly entertaining. His wife was the timid and caring Katrina. She helped with the restaurant owned by Antonio’s brother. The kind woman always had a smile on her face that was highly contagious. Together they produced two sons. Twins actually. The boys were always inseparable, although one would never picture the two as related if it weren’t for the obvious physical similarities.
Each boy took after a parent. Donavan was definitely his father’s son. The charming boy had always had a love for entertaining others. He is usually rather social, always finding himself drawn to events with a large number of people. The more the better. However, this didn’t exactly mean that Donavan was a friendly individual. He never picked up much self control. Holding things in was pointless when you can just as easily allow the person to know how you really feel. Anyone who is going to ruin his mood is unneeded and a waste of his time. At times he could be rather witty. Sarcasm was a third language to him. You won’t see him being obnoxious or too outlandish; he prefers dry humor. That isn’t saying that he goes without his more stern days. If something doesn’t sit well with him, he can be quite cold. While some of his father’s humor was apparent, his most pure form of expression is his music.
This was perhaps one of the only things he held in common with his brother. You wouldn’t catch him serenading any women with a ballad though. Donavan played for the rush and attention. There are few things that he actually finds worthwhile or takes seriously, but music definitely is an exception. He can hole himself up for days working on his next masterpiece. Much of his free times is spent practicing whichever instrument he is currently in the mood for. His primary weapons of choice are the guitar and piano. He has no problem performing a powerful and moving piece on the keys followed by a heart pounding off the wall guitar riff.
That isn’t to say he is without his problems though. He doesn’t see them as problems, but his brother disproves of many of his habits. They both grew up in a loving and supportive family. To this day, the family is still strong and always there for each other. There was no traumatic or life-changing event in either of the boy’s lives. Perhaps a little setback wouldn’t have hurt them.
Donavon was much more outgoing than his brother. When they were young they had the same friends and played the same games. Around middle school the two started to show more noticeable signs of difference. Donavan began to let his grades slowly slip as his brother continued his straight A track. Attention became necessary for him as he found himself getting into more and more trouble. Nothing too serious. Just the occasionally detention, which he found a small price to pay for the numerous friends he made. As Donavan surrounded himself with more and more people, the twins grew apart at school. Problems formed between the two as Donavan sacrificed his brother’s feelings in exchange for his friends. Often times the entertainment came at his brother’s expense.
However as high school neared, Donavan matured a bit while concentrating on his music. The two grew closer once again, although they no longer needed to be in each other’s company as much. Soon he grew bored with his classmates, finding new interests with an older crowd. With a new group came new experiences. It didn’t take much time until Donavan started skipping school to hang out at a local club with them. Hanging out led to other things…drugs, sex, and rock and roll as they say. With hearty helping of each. Playing poker and having drug induced jamming sessions soon completely replaced school. This is when his parents, and brother, finally stepped in.
After a confrontation and some rather unpleasant words exchanged, Donavan decided to try to stay on track for their sake. He made it through high school with decent grades, which more than pleased his parents. They were also rather excited with the opportunities he started to receive concerning his music. School wasn’t just to please his parents though. He didn’t hesitate to use what he learned with older woman on girls his own age or a bit younger. Yes he got around quite a bit, but it was part of the lifestyle as far as he was concerned.
The 17 year old hasn’t changed his views much from those not so long ago times. Now he has his act together a bit more though. For once he is somewhat applying himself in school Just enough to make grades though. He spends the majority of his time at the same old club which is like his second home. Many of his friends frequent there and he gets to play for an audience. He has built up some hype as an artist, but frankly he isn’t sure he can handle all of this himself. Hopefully he can find a steady band and maybe some management. In the mean time, he will play for the sake of the music. And a few perks on the side of course.
His family is much happier with him now. He even hangs out with his brother much more, who often comes to watch him play or even jam with him. None of them know that he still hasn’t managed to kick the whole drug thing completely. And his relationships with women are as active as ever. The fact that much of his income is used in gambling probably wouldn’t sit well either. Luckily he is one hell of a Texas Hold ‘Em player. Perhaps he hasn’t changed as much as previously thought.

Extras: Was in band for a few years, but had to split up due to a few members moving. Might consider starting another one. That is if he actually finds people who are good and not annoying. And that is assuming he actually puts in the effort to start another one.
