What's your character like?:
When Scott was little, his dad used to pressure him to be the jock that every dad wants them to be. So he got involved in baseball and football, though his real dream was to be a nuclear scientist. His dad doesn't really know that he would prefer playing chess to tackling someone. Mostly shy, because he doesn't really get to know people and misses all of his friends back home, of the few ones from the chess team he had. Since Scott is on the smallish side, he is extremely fast and occasionally ran track. He isn't really attracted to girls, and not in the I might be gay way, its just girls aren't really on his top priority list.

Background:
Scott's family has always lived in California. Scott had recently been going to a public high school. His father is a turnaround alcoholic that used to be abusive on Scott. He'd always go to the bar after work and then come home to verbally abuse Scott. His mother finally stood up to him after Scott's self esteem got so low, he began cutting himself. Scott's dad went to Alcoholics Anonymous and he has now been alcohol free for 3 years. Like I said, up until recently, Scott has been going to a public high school. One game during football season, his father was offered alcohol and unfortunately, couldn't pass up the opportunity. Scott was tackled and broke his ankle, and his dad went and got into a fight with the referee. Scott was kicked off of the football team and his dad took him to a private school, Westview High. Now Scott just wants to forget about his old school, along with everyone in it.
